Young Director Award 2010

The Commercial Film Producers of Europe (CFP-E) and Shots magazine today announce the
opening of submissions for the 12th annual Young Director Award (YDA).
Entries will be accepted until April 15th 2010.
Divided into two sections (European and Non-European), the YDA includes 5 categories:
• Broadcast commercials
• Web films
• Branded short films
• Film school commercials
• Test commercials

One submission rule: films that are submitted have to be among the first four commercials
ever made by a director the year preceding the award!
The films are judged by a panel of established producers belonging to the CFP-E as well as
Lyndy Stout, Editor at large for Shots magazine.
This year's YDA ceremony will take place on Wednesday, June 23rd in Cannes (France).
Winning directors will benefit from exposure to the advertising industry and will receive up to
3,000 meters of 35 mm film by Kodak our main sponsor.
